The stupidity of stereotyping.... 15/10/01 Sky NEWS Prayers, Planes, Paranoia A Delta Air Lines flight was diverted to Charlotte, North Carolina, after passengers mistook prayers being said by two Orthodox Jews on board as a terrorist threat. The plane was grounded on Sunday and passengers were taken off while officials investigated a report of two 'Middle Eastern men' creating a disturbance on board. The airport manager at Charlotte Douglas International Airport confirmed that Delta Flight 458 continued to Newark after officials were satisfied there was no threat.
