Yes, now and then she says something that makes her sound a litle bit in agreement with the view expressed by MER. Kind of like when Bush says Israel ought to withdraw from the occuppied territory but them ,in the next breath, denounces terrorist suicide bombings of innocence people, you know, the ones who support Sharon's policy but go to the mall shopping and get blown up eating pizza-the one's who arn't 'accidentally caught in the crossfire' or collaterally damaged but are actually targeted- and that definately has to stop FIRST before ANY serious negotiations can begin.
This is the 'bread and butter' of her argument- the one that has absolutely prevented any justice whatsoever being provided Paslestinians since 1948. But it sounds so cool and morally right on, doesn't it. I mean, what?, it's good enough for 70-80% to give Bush their support in his Infinite Justice Crusade- no matter how bleeding much it costs them or how many other people in the world learn to hate them.
Yes, even when the head guy at MER has an interview on the radio he has to say,' yes, yes, these suicide bombings are really bad, no excuse for that, be sure that I am also one hundred percent against suicide bombings- now, try to listen to what I say about all the other dimensions to the problem.' You'll notice that's how he has to begin every interview whereas with Barb, that's what all her 'interviews' finally boil down to. Everything else she has to say about the situation justs flies around and around that point, like moons bound by the gravity of their mother planets.
It doesn't make any difference to her that you totally refuted her fantasy postings on the history of Palestine or the demented views of Bernard Lewis, or the zillions of Time Magazine , CNN article's she puts on here, because her main 'planet' still holds. You blow one moon out of orbit, a new one will soon fill its place.
Basically we are talking major mental pathology, in Barb's case.
