I support the cause, but not the methods!
Blacks in America never experienced the level of violence and massacres that Palestinians have suffered, but I still think much can be learned from their struggle. Malcolm X was a militant leader of the oppressed black minority in this country, but yet his militancy allowed his cause to be forcefully rejected by whites. Arafat has suffered the same problem, as his lack of coordination of peaceful strikes, has resulted in him becoming the Malcolm X of the Palestinians rather than the Martin Luther King. This is a statement I'd make today, or everyday for the last 35 years. The Palestinians 'shall overcome' should they take the proper path.
