Events and developments

in the Palestinian arena during the past 24hours

Ramallah May 14th 2002 Wafa; below is a summery of the events took place during the past 254 hours:

The 15 years old boy Salem Sami Sha’er, died yesterday as a result of wounds sustained on the 7th of May when he was targeted by the Israeli snipers who shot him in the chest. Sami was evacuated by an ambulance to Egypt for further medical attendance where he died.

Using three tanks to protect a bulldozer the invading Israeli occupation forces destroyed 50 acres of agricultural lands and destroyed a livestock’s farm near Khan Younis. Later on the Israeli occupation forces invaded the city of Deir Albalah and arrested 8 Palestinian citizens.

The Israeli occupation authorities commenced establishing a new settlement in an occupied military post near Ramallah where they have positioned several caravans in order to use them for erecting a new settlement.

For the second time a group of settlers call themselves as “The settlements’ Guardians” have opened their fire towards a herd of camels killing several of them dragging one into their settlement near Jericho. Mr. Wael Natheef the head of the protecting committee from the settlers’ assaults against the Palestinian civilians, said that the Jewish settlers often steal cattle, sheep and camels including barb wiring lands annexing them to their settlements.

The Israeli special assassination force killed this morning Colonel Khaled Abu Kheran the head of the local intelligence department and his assistant Ahmad Za’era, in Halhoul near Hebron, when the Israeli snipers opened their automatic gun fire towards them as they were in their houses and during the incursion many Palestinians were injured and many were arrested and taken to unknown places.

12 Palestinians from Deir Alghoson near Tulkarem in the West Bank were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces after ransacking their houses vandalizing the contents and destroying every everything

Don't mumble about how 'difficult' or 'complex' the situation is. It isn't. You are the oppressor. You are the occupier. You park your tanks on plundered land. You fill your swimming pools with stolen water. You kill and destroy in order to inherit. So don't bullshit about 'the situation.' Just get out!
