No effective steps for peace in the Middle East yet
Havana (AIN) The fact that can not be discussed that the international community has not yet achieved effective steps to stop the massacre of Israel against the Palestinian people was the consensus that the Round Table Informative Broadcast reached on Tuesday.
An evident demonstration of this fact are the dozens of dead people, the more than five thousand people detained, and the strafing of the civilian population that the Israeli soldiers are doing in different Palestinian cities during the Operation Defensive Wall, that now has lasted for more than a month.
Cuban journalist Elson Concepcion, a specialist in international affairs, highlighted the case of the Jenin refugee camp, were more than 200 persons were massacred, in what has been one of the most shameful and repugnant actions of the Israeli aggressors.
This inhuman and cruel action was done precisely when the United Nations Human Rights Commission was meeting in Geneva, were the United States of America and its western allies attempted to justify Israel and to block the participation of the Palestinian delegate at the meeting.
Juan Dufflar a journalist from the Trabajadores newspaper that is an expert in Middle East affairs, insisted about the intentions of the Zionist upper levels headed by fascist Ariel Sharon of destabilizing the command of the Palestine Liberation Organization, PLO, so that advantageous negotiations could then be done imposing harsh and shameful conditions to the Palestinian people.
Dufflar said that those intentions against the leadership of the PLO and looking for an alternative personality to 'democratize'the Organization have the objective of then starting up the negotiations for the creation of a mutilated Palestinian state that will include the Jewish settlements within its territorial borders.
Randy Alonso summarized the analysis done during the Round Table Informative Broadcast and emphasized the 'the criminal policy of Sharon and his blindness as a statesman has also multiplied the lack of security of his own Israeli people and condemned the national economy of the nation to failure, sending the unemployment figures to alarming numbers.
