Israeli war criminal receives honorary doctorate from University of Bar Illan in Tel Aviv.

Occupied Jerusalem: 22 May, 2002 (IAP News) - Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, a certified war criminal, last night received an honorary doctorate from the University of Bar Illan in Tel Aviv.
Many liberal professors objected with one saying 'it disgraces the university and cheapens the value of honorary degrees.'
In his speech at the college, Sharon vowed to build more Jewish settlements and uproot more Palestinians from their homeland.
He said Israel would have to bring into Palestine an additional million Jewish immigrants, which would require the building of more Jewish-only settlements and the confiscation of more Palestinian land.
Sharon is directly or indirectly responsible for the murder of more Palestinian and Arab civilians than any other Israeli politician.
Some Israeli moralists have compared the election of Sharon as Prime Minister to the election of Adolph Hitler by the Germans in 1939.
Sharon still enjoys the support of a majority of Israelis and is also backed by the bulk of the American Jewish community which holds a firm grip on America's financial and media institutions as well as the Congress of the United States.
