When the inhabitant of Bethlehem came out of their homes,
after the long weeks during which Israeli soldiers shot
at everything in town that moved, they discovered that the landscape had changed.
While they were imprisoned in their homes,
the army had been working day and night to separate them from the world
by a trench two meters deep and a murderous wire fence,
sharp as a razor, that could cause anyone entangled in it to bleed to death.
The town and its suburbs (Bet-Jala,
the Aida and other refugee camps) had become a big prison.

Interesting how everything the IDF thugs do these days appears more and more like the Nazi's rolling into Poland, Ukraine and Hungry 1939 huh DONUSA?

So if the Zionist Jews get a 'bad rap' here on MER, what can I say :( huh Carol? :)

But don't get me wrong, because 'often' I say 'the decent Jews of Israel,' which confims the fact that I believe that there 'are' decent Jews--albiet, like little church mice too fearful of objecting to the crimes of the Zionist parasites lest they be accused of being 'self-hating' Jews.

The sad fact is that when the Arabs finally get their dirty nuclear device in hand--they will not threaten, they will not warn--they will just press the red button faster than you can say 'KA-BOOOOOOOM'' and the melting flesh and the pulverized Jewish cities will remain there a radioactive heap and a tribute to the Zionist's inhumanity to their fellow Arab brothers--or should I say cousins.

Oh Well,

TAC,
Why do you think that Iran is under such scrutiny? Iran has the ability and resources to create a nuclear weapon. Therefore, because they are a threat to the Zionists, the Zionists will use the U.S. Military to bully, and eventually destroy Iran.

Iraq, on the other hand, is just for the oil.

BTW - I think that Pakistan and India will engage in a nuclear war. This is what Israel wants. This is the great distraction that will hide their mass extermination and/or expulsion of Palestinians. It is no coincidence that Kashmir is HOT right now. The Mossad is everywhere.

If what TAC says is true, than the Israeli people should destroy their enemies before they are destroyed themselves.

What would we do if we knew a country was just waiting to get hold of a technology in order to kill us all?
Damn right we'd kill them first.

I don't accept that the Arabs intend to do this, but perhaps we should take TAC's word for it.

As for Israel being the cause of the problems in Kashmir - LMAO!

You clearly don't know your subcontinent history Peecavis.

But did you know that the Israelis were responsible for Robert Horry's 3-point shot to beat the Kings the other night?
Those Mossad agents are everywhere. Even in the NBA Playoffs.
I'm not kidding.

Israel is not the cause of the Kashmir conflict, that is TRUE.

HOWEVER!
Israel IS teaching the Indians how to play the PR game. How to engage in SPIN. And how to REVERSE the poliical tables on their adversaries. Listen CLOSELY to Vashpapees speeches and see what I mean. India REFUSES to discuss Kasmir. India REFUSES to hold urgent talks with Musharruff. India has REFUSED to implememt UN resolutions. India REFUSES to allow UN peacekeepers. India REFUSES to allow full democratic elections to ALL the Kashmiri people.

GEE WIZ.........I WONDER WERE INDIA GETS HER LESSONS FROM??????

Israel is also closely working with the Indian government on military and technological advances ties. Israel desperately wants to link the global 'war on terror' to all Islamic countries and legitimize her ongoing war with the Palestinian people by placing the Intafada in the same category. I fear that Western people will fall for this line. After all the Israeli and American governments have powerful THINK TANKS that engage in plotting such agendas.

Funny how you seem to bring the issue of color into this arguement. Not once have I bought the issue of color or race into this fray. This has NEVER been about the issue of color, this is the ISSUE of practising Oppression, manipulation and colluding with countries like India that have a long way to go in matching the cynical tactics that are devised by the Western Powers. India's Hindu population has a long standing history of hatred towards the Mulims in the sub continent. My charge is that ISRAEL is EXPLOITING the situation to it's strategical advantage, pinhead!

A host of Asian-Pacific countries have been criticized for human rights abuses in the latest annual report issued by the worldwide rights watchdog, Amnesty International.

The September 11 attacks on America and the subsequent crackdown on perceived national security threats were the focus of much of Amnesty's wrath, although the report also targeted China, Singapore, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Pakistan and India were both chastised for indulging in state-supported torture of prisoners in custody.

In Sri Lanka, the police were alleged to have committed wide-scale rape while the northern separatist Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) movement was singled out for its practice of taking hostages and using child soldiers.

China's continued repression of religious groups and ethnic minorities, such as the Uighurs in Xingjiang and the Himalayan Tibetans, were highlighted once more.

China
Perennial appearances on Amnesty's annual blacklist did not appear to have quelled human rights abuses in China, with the group reporting that serious rights violations increased in 2001.

'Around 200 Falun Gong practitioners allegedly died in custody as a result of torture, scores of nuns and monks remained in prison in Tibet,' the report said.

'The Chinese government used the 'war against terrorism' to justify a crackdown on ethnic Uighur 'separatists,' saying they were linked to international terrorism. Many alleged separatists were detained and some were executed,' it said.

China's open declaration of a war on crime, the so-called Strike Hard Policy, also came in for criticism from the rights group, which is strongly opposed to capital punishment.

The 2002 report said at least 4,015 people were sentenced to death and 2,468 executed, with the true figures believed to be far higher.

Press suppression
The conservative city-state of Singapore and neighboring Muslim-dominated Malaysia both came under fire in the Amnesty report for curtailing press and political freedoms.

In Singapore, the ruling People's Action Party -- the holder of 82 out of 84 parliamentary seats -- was criticized for enforcing the Internal Security Act (ISA), which allows indefinite detention without trial, and for undermining the rights to freedom of expression and assembly.

Similarly, across the strait in Malaysia, another variant Internal Security Act was branded 'intimidatory.'

Under the guise of taking a tough stance on the war on terror, the goverment arrested and detained without trial opposition activists and suspected Islamic ''extremists'' under the Internal Security Act (ISA), putting them at risk of torture or ill-treatment, the report said.

Indonesia and separatists
The violent suppression of separatist movements in Aceh and Papua blighted Indonesia's human rights record, although Amnesty attributed a year of political upheaval to the government's apparent inability to act.

The report said dependence activists in Papua and Aceh, as well as labor and political activists, were among at least 13 people who were sentenced to terms of imprisonment for the peaceful expression of their views.

Also cited were 'deaths and injuries resulting from excessive force used by the military and police, including against striking workers, protesters and in areas of religious and ethnic conflict.'

In India, the police were alleged to have engaged in torture in custody, with people from socially and economically marginalized sections of society said to be particularly vulnerable.

The religious violence that has pitted the majority Hindi population against Muslims in the north of the country was also exacerbated by police who were 'believed to have taken a partisan role,' said Amnesty.

Kashmir detentions
The dispute with Pakistan in Kashmir was the source of criticism for both countries.

Indian authorities have continued to use the lapsed Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA) to detain people in Jammu and Kashmir by linking them to ongoing cases filed before 1995.

Hundreds of people remain in detention under the TADA, despite Supreme Court orders for a review of all cases, the report said.

Freedom of expression was curtailed in 2001 in Pakistan, said Amnesty.

Kashmir, and the broader assistance Pakistan's leader General Pervez Musharraf offered the United States in its war on terror, were used by the military government to ban organizations ''involved in terrorism'' and to ban media distribution of materials ''conducive to terrorism.'

Women and children were also said to have been victimized in Pakistan, with the report condemning the state for 'failing to take adequate measures to protect women from abuse'.

Several hundred girls and women were killed in 2001 for allegedly shaming their families. Their supposedly immoral behavior included marrying men of their own choice or seeking a divorce.

The non-governmental Human Rights Commission of Pakistan reported that 62 women had been killed in such ''honor' crimes in the first quarter of 2001 in Sindh Province alone.

Over 4,000 juvenile detainees were held during the year, many residing in cells with adult offenders and suspects for minor offences such as vagrancy and theft.

Few unscathed
Few nations escaped unscathed in Amnesty's annual compilation of human rights abuses, with 152 countries listed as having breached what it says should comprise the basic tenets of any fair society.

The U.S. and U.K. came under fire for response to the September 11 attacks on the United States' east coast.

Other countries did not escape criticism. Australia for its prolonged detention of asylum-seekers in remote camps; Cambodia for not pursuing Khmer Rouge criminals; military-run Myanmar for extrajudicial killings, political imprisonment and forced labor; North Korea for executing political activists and South Korea for imprisoning more than 1,600 conscientious objectors to military service.

Amnesty International is an independent body with more than one million members worldwide.

Get Sharon and his Likud buddies out of office; and get Peres in there with an IMMEDIATE resumption of the peace talks started at Oslo.

STOP all settlement building. STOP all military incursions. STOP all harassment and humiliation at checkpoints.

I would be content with this. Suicide bombings would greatly decrease if not stop altogether. Hope would return. And many lives would be saved.

I don't believe Palestinians are saints either. Reform is necessary, but hope and simple humanity are essential. With hope and promise for a future, the Palestinians will be able to reform themselves. But let's just begin by saving lives.

Anti-Nazi,
To answer your question directly, no, of course the Jewish people are not the cause of all the trouble in the world.

And I must give credit where credit is due. In the Western society, the Jewish people have been brilliantly successful in the fields of science, medicine, literature, arts & film, technology, and law. I have worked professionally with Jewish scientists, businessmen, and laywers for whom I have nothing but the greatest respect. And my favorite American author is Norman Mailer, a Jew. They are not war mongers, but great contributors to Western society.

But look at all the great Civilizations: Ancient Egyptian, Roman, Ottoman, et cetera. With all their wonderful contributions to advancing human standards of living, they have also been tremendously greedy and violent. Human nature does not change just because we live here and now.

Anti-Nazi,
I think for myself, and I support what is in the best interest of America and Americans.

It's simple: stop supporting Israel's brutal occupation of Palestinian territories and Americans will be safer from terrorism.

Al Qaeda would be a non-issue right now if Israel wasn't hijacking our War on Terror. Why? Because Al Qaeda is a pure Militant Terror Organization, and the World knows it. Hamas does a tremendous amount of humanitarian work. Yet Americans associate Hamas with Al Qaeda. And the World is no longer supporting our war against terror because of our support of Israel, rather the Likuds.

Regarding Jews: I think Jews are incredibly smart people, as a whole. That's not to say that French, English, Russian, Iranian, Indian, Chinese, American, or any other group are not smart. But as a whole, the Jews (strange how I compare a religious group to nationalities) are by far the smartest, wealthiest, and I guess I would say the most 'special'. But that also makes them the most dangerous if they are not 'controlled'.

Read Norman Mailer's book 'Harlot's Ghost' - it's about the early beginnings of the CIA through the Cold War to the Kennedy Assassination. This book is brilliant on many levels. In fact, it received praise from a prominent Muslim author. This book shows the duplicity and complexity of an intelligence organization from inside out. It also shows the brilliance, imagination, and creativity of a Jewish mastermind at work. Most importantly, it shows how few people, non-elected people in high places, can 'hijack' a great democracy, and the most powerful nation in the world. He demonstrates this ability through historical facts. His main characters are fictional, thus making the book a novel, but consider the book Intelligence 101 by its factual and historic accuracy.

Also realize the historical significance that the United States is a Unilateral Super Power. That makes the U.S. Presidency effectively the Most Powerful Man on Earth. Consider the effect such power would have on a human being:

Kenedy: He thought he was above everyone else, even his political enemies. He and his brother Robert hit hard against his enemies, and both were assassinated.

Johnson: He relished the power of Commander in Chief. He micromanaged the Vietnam War. He took the power of God into his own hands by deciding who should die, how many, when the will die, and by what means. He turned into a madman with a powerful military.

Nixon: He, like Kenedy, pissed off his political enemies. Like many presidents, he thought he was untouchable. He also made the mistake of criticizing the Jews in government. He wanted quotas on the number of Jews in the FBI and other government agencies. Ultimately, he paid the price.

Carter: He had a good heart, but he was stupid as a peanut. His foreign policy was hijacked by Brzezinski, which started the last great chapter of the Cold War - Soviet Afghanistan.

Regan: The Actor. He was playing his greatest role on the Worlds Largest Screen. He already won the Cold War with the Soviet defeat in Afghanistan, but sought to dramatize it. 'Tear down this Wall, Mr. Gorbachev!' The Actor.

Clinton: A two-bit Kennedy wannabe. Hillary is no Jackie O. And Monica Lewinski is defintely no Marilyn Monroe. Yet he held the American hearts in his dirty hands, and he squeazed every dollar (and ass) out of his status as Most Powerful Man on Earth.

Bush II: Or Mini-Me. He is really Cheney's puppet, and just along for the ride. Everyone knows he is not really in power, but he likes his position and he likes people around him. He loves to entertain and make common people feel good. Those are his only good merits. Unfortunately, his qualities make him weak, and therefore the prime target of a Likud Coup.

What am I getting at with all this? The United States of America is no longer a free country. Our fore fathers wanted the power to remain in the hands of the people. That was the purpose of the First Amendment. Could they have anticipated the effect radio, television, cable, satellite, and the Internet would have on the First Amendment? Hell no! But they could not have anticipated automatic weapons, tanks, jets, missiles, and weapons of mass distruction would have on the Second Amendment. But neither is an excuse to take these rights away from the American people. Yet it is those who wish to hijack the most powerful nation on earth to take the power away from the people and put that power into the government which they control!

The Second Amendment is the Reset Button in case our government fails us. That's the idea of our forefathers. The idea that there are Natural Rights of all Human Beings, and one is the right not to be oppressed. I'm sure they would frown upon how the United States governments have abused such powers.

Anyway, I have fallen for a Jewish girl before, as well as an Iranian girl, as well as an Asian girl, as well as a Moroccan girl, as well as a Russian girl. All are equally good; and all are equally evil :-) It's the one with the power to fear the most.
