Now that sounds more American than most of the stuff Ive been hearing lately. Some one who wants to put forth effort instead of just complain. Im not Jewish and Im not Arab. I am American and proud to be so. But this America is far from the America I loved so dear as a child. The corruption of our morals has America colapsing from the inside out. And what breaks my heart is the fact that we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg that will be upon us in all certainty within the next decade. (assuming we survive that long. Death is certain and uncertain. Certain that we all die, and uncertain in that no one is promised a tomorrow.) America is, to my dispair, becoming less and less 'American' every day. My heart goes out to you Michael in that you want to help. Now, focus on what you can do now. Be a shining example to others by standing up for what is right and moraly good. Our future is our children. Look at how the youth (majority) are today. Goodness and morality is the farthest thing from THEIR mind. This is our fault. No guidance. No such thing as family. When is the last time you heard 'Supper is ready, come wash hands so we can have prayer!) Children and teens are what we put into them. Garbage in, garbage out. I know you want to help the people of palestine, but dont you think we need to stabilize our own wounds to be able to be of better service to others? Just a thought. May I also add just one heartfelt thought. To the manipulators of media who brainwash us constantly and those that purge the sewers to find MTV suitable rot that will bring the demise of our children, GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL. '..but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.' (Matt. 18:6) Let us first remove the beam from our own eye so we can see clearly to remove the speck from some one elses. Lets fix the important stuff first while we still have SOMETHING to work WITH. May God bless true and faithfull Americans. America needs more Micheals who want to DO and not just SAY. Lets DO RIGHT. Take heart America, its up to us to be responsable. We can do it! ;^)
