reply top For those complaining about who discusses what on MER. I have heard every existing opinion and point of view on this board. From white supremacists to zionist extremists, not forgetting pro-palestinians europeans, leftist intellectuals, liberal american jews, concerned czechs, inquisitive japanese,naive passer-by's, muslim fundamentalits,angry aussies, the AZ cowboy and that freak of nature ADAM( The board wouldnt be the same without him). This is an exercise in real democracy to all you self-appointed politically correct patriots out there. Its not only about accepting other opinions , its about listening to them, discussing them and arguing with them. But I guess u cant stand diverging opinions from your one-sided vision for the new world order. Then this website is not for you. Go back to your living room and listen to the same crap you wanna hear over and over again coz u agree with it and it helps u sleep at night. But please cut the patronizing bullshit.

reply top Mr. Arab, Please direct me to the articles on MER which outline U.S. economic aid and assistance to Palestinians and Arab countries. Show me the report on the latest U.S. commitment to fight AIDS in Africa to the tune of 1/2 a billion dollars. Where are the reports on Arabs imprisoned, tortured, and executed in prisons across the Middle East on a daily basis? Where are the reports outlining the Jewish perspective and how suicide bombings have devastated their society? When you can show me these, I'll believe MER isn't one-sided. Until then, my criticism stands. This is one-sided, biased, anti-American, anti-Israeli site that has no real interest in exploring Middle East realities.

And it comes after repeated attempts by some of ur fellow pro-israelis to brand it as neo-nazi, anti-semitic etc. As u can see for urself the opinions as diverse, and ur own posts are the material proof of that. What MER publishes is MER'S problem. It is a pro-palestinian organization and they have all the right to be. Ater all do Israeli and pro-zionists publications show the plight of the palestinian people under occupation. I doubt it. Even US mainstream media have been very pro-israeli in their coverage and have deliberatly ignored many aspects of the conflict. So MER is a pro-palestinian beacon in a pro-israeli sea. U can like it or hate it, but u will have to live with it. U have a very distorted view on debate and diversity, and i suggest u go back and read ur own post carefully before coming back with the same old patronizing attitude.

People were placing graphic photos that showed EXACTLY what Isra'hell is up to in the Occupied territories......the internet drives them CRAZY and makes them mad as hell. reply top Mr. Arab, MER claims to be presenting Middle East realities, and the Middle East comprises over 200 million people of which only 10 million live within Israel and the West Bank. If they're going to focus solely on Palestinian issues, then they should change the name of the site. Otherwise, they sort of have an obligation to actually cover what's going on in the rest of the Middle East, not just the West Bank, and it ain't pretty.

If you take the TIME to explore the MER site, they have articles from all over the world, including that Zionist rag called the Jerusalem Post. reply top Lynnette, Read my post on MER's complete miss on Iran this week. Not a word form these 'purveyors of truth' on that. You can't defend them on that issue -- only that if they want a pro-Palestinian bias that is their right -- which is true, but they shouldn't claim to be a Middle East website.
