The number of enemies the US is creating now is really alarming!!
A quick fix to remap the middle east and get a new economic scam going might actually back fire!!

Extension of terrorism by other means
By Nourah Abdul Aziz Al-Khereiji

Is the vainglorious and headstrong United States taking the world to total destruction? Blind US actions against Arab and Muslim countries will undoubtedly halt global economic progress causing untold miseries the world over. If Afghanistan was the victim of wild US attacks yesterday, tomorrow it will be Iraq’s turn. Palestine has been writhing under US-backed aggression for a long time. The turn of each Arab and Muslim country will come according to the priority on the US hit list. Billions of dollars will be spent first for the destruction and then on reconstruction. The wounds in people’s hearts will remain unhealed. What does the US administration seek by its ostensible war on terror? Is it to rob Arab and Muslim countries of their fabulous resources in order to replenish US coffers, depleted by gross economic mismanagement and company scams?

Hasn’t the US proven itself to be a terrorist country by resorting to methods of terrorizing peace-loving people in various parts of the world? Isn’t its unilateral attempt to redraw the map of the Middle East an act of international terrorism? How can it presume to have the right to appoint rulers in other countries without the consent of the people there? Isn’t its endorsement of Israel’s use of advanced weapons to strike civilian targets in Palestine yet another example of sponsoring terror? Isn’t the US’ justification of Israel’s bombing of civilian centers as Israel’s right of self-defense just another form of terror?

Why does the US call the Israeli suppression of the Palestinians a war? It is rather a mighty army attacking unarmed people. The Palestinians have no army but a group of boys and youths armed mostly with stones. What a travesty of words — the hapless freedom fighters are called terrorists while the powerful Israeli Army is called peacemakers. The US support for this repressive country is portrayed as helping a weak country in its efforts to defend itself. On the contrary, the supporters of a people resisting a mighty occupation army and fighting for their freedom are called terrorist gangs! The support by Muslim charitable organizations for the hungry, sick and destitute Palestinians is viewed as supporting international terrorism! The US also wants the countries supporting these dispossessed refugees to be penalized mercilessly by economic sanctions, destabilizing or dismembering their territories and the installation of puppet governments who take orders from Washington. The US will declare war on these countries if they do not obey its dictates. Is there any worse terrorism than this US behavior?

The US keeps the UN under its thumb. The latest evidence is the UN’s refusal to admit that there was an Israeli-perpetrated massacre in Jenin. Instead, the international organization holds both Israelis and Palestinians equally responsible for the deaths and destruction in the camp. This UN stand is surely another attempt by the UN secretary-general to prove his loyalty to the US. He knows that it is the only way to fulfill his dream of getting one more term in the top UN post. He has taken his cue from the US treatment of the previous secretary-general, who did not obey US dictates and was consequently denied a second term. The former secretary-general simply refused to be a US puppet.

Is not the implied or open US intimidation of a country, which refuses to support an attack against Iraq without a convincing reason, another form of terror? Various US studies and reports have been submitted to the Pentagon and to the US defense headquarters about launching military attacks on Saudi Arabia and weakening it. Congress has also discussed these plans. The ridiculous proposals in the reports include the liberation of the oil wells in the Eastern Province. What do they mean by “liberation?” Do they mean the liberation of the wells from their rightful owners? What does this insolence mean? The absurd proposals include sending US military forces to occupy the Kingdom’s oil fields, the greatest crude oil facilities in the Middle East. According to the study, the US should wait until the conquest of Iraq which will also bring Iraqi oil under US control. Or as some of the analysts said, the US could declare the Kingdom as enemy No. 1 as the US would no longer need Saudi help after the conquest of Iraq. Since the Kingdom has refused to serve as a base for launching an attack on Iraq, the US can put the Kingdom at the top of its list of enemies.

We Saudis do not view the plan to attack Iraq and the last Kuwait war in the same way. Basically, we have the freedom to take a decision in such matters. Moreover, the war for Kuwait’s liberation had a genuine cause — Iraq’s attack on Kuwait and its threats to invade other countries. On the contrary, Iraq is now a battered country after prolonged UN sanctions, investigations and air strikes. The country is making attempts to join ranks with Arab countries and amend its past errors. The goodwill gestures from Iraq should be responded to because we are all brothers. And enmity among nations is not permanent. The bitter foes of World War I and World War II are now close allies and friends.

We understand that recent reports leaked to the media are a means to terrorize us and force us into supporting the war against Iraq despite the US administration’s repeated declaration that the reports are unofficial and that relations between the two countries remain good. We know that the US protects its interests even if it means trampling on the honor and dignity of other people. The only solution open to us is to pray for Allah’s help. Allah, make the hearts of Muslims one, make their voices harmonious and close their ranks.

America ALWAYS puts it's underpants on backwards when it comes to discussing Israel and her so-called 'security'measuresin a fair evenhanded manner. The Americans will never chide or sanction Israeli excesses because it serves their purpose not to. Palestinians are expendable and in reality the Bush Administration couldn't give a rats arse about a just and fair Palestinian outcome for them. If it really did care, this shit would have been stopped dead in it's tracks decades ago.
