I would post this as a reply to my original message but who knows how soon that it will reach the bottom of the list?

I went to the Mall and found that the puzzlecar kiosk was still operating. Although there was a briefcase and half-drunk cup of coffee by the register, no attendent was around. I walked through the Mall for awhile and came back- no attendent- so I asked they guy in the next Kiosk where I could find him and he said in his 'middle-eastern ' accent- 'actually, I can help you'.

I had the names of the items he was selling mixed up in my mind so I asked him if the puzzlecar wasn't the same as the 'zoomcars and crazy copters' I'd heard about- blank expression'- I continued: 'It's just that I heard you guys were a front for a Israeli spy ring'. Immediate response: 'What (grimace)? I don't know what you're talking about' followed by complete silent ( not interested in knowing more about what I was talking about).

I left, waving goodby at little with my hand. I smiled, he smiled back.

I suppose there is alot of stuff spys could look into around here e.g.One of the largest departments of Immigration and Naturalization in New England, a resettlement program for refugees from the Balkans, Sudan and Eastern Europe, many Arab students at local colleges a 'peace and justice movement' (though primarily passifist).

Of course, that 'puzzlecar' ( made in China by the way- according to the label)is a front for spies is still just an accusation by the government. The company denies the claim.

Has anybody else on the list seen these puzzlecar kiosks or have any local stories dealing with the crisis in Palestine? It's nice to read about spies and zionists, but actually meeting and talking and listening to them first hand is altogether different. Gosh, who knows, maybe if I speak loudly enough they'll come and kill me! I'm actually living in these times not just reading and posting about them!
