Topic: How can someone help get the truth out in the USA?

reply top I am so sick to my stomach with the propaganda propogated by the Israeli media and spilled into American media. The Israeli's have used our own words to justify their own atrocities. They have provoked the Palestinians, trying to play their hands. My frustration is that I feel that one can't sit by quietly and let this whole situation unfold without at least the American people realizing what is REALLY going on. If they still then agree with it, so be it. The dogma is so entrenched in this country and if you say even a single thing negative about Israel, the first thing you are told is that you are anti-semitic and second, that Israel is only defending herself against the Palestinians who just want to kill them all. It is enough to make a person barf. Okay, so what...do I write my senator, send money somewhere for an organization that has real clout? What can a person do?

reply top Writing to your senator or or congressman is a good idea. Or you can call your senator and State that you are concerned about reducing the Palestinian human tragedy to an argument about 'who-fired-the-first-bullet'. You should also write to your local newspaper so they can print your comment in the reader's section. And the hardest part is to get involved in the media in any way possible because the media is so biased and you certainly can't depend on CNN.

reply top Do NOT send your money to any MUSLIM organization. There were four main charity organizations, out of which three are now banned for their alleged support of terrorism. Please do not ask for proof. You may be then supporting the terrorism with your words. Write to your newspaper and senator. Also, pray for all the innocents of this tragedy. Peace.
