Although I'm sure that most people visiting this forum don't take them seriously, the suggestion has been made that zionist propaganda has exaggerated the character and extent of Hitler's 'final solution' against the Jews of Europe.

There are alot of histories of the Holocaust, some quite daunting in their scope- very lengthy and thoroughly documented. For anyone who wants to read about what went on but not spend the next five years doing it Raul Hilberg's 'Perpetrators, Victims and Bystanders: The Jewish Catastrophe 1933-1945' and 'The Politics of Memory; The Journey of a Holocaust Historian' are worthwhile. From these books you can get an idea of the documents upon which current estimates of the nature and extent of the destruction are based( stuff seized by the U.S. government after the fall of Germany and stored in vast warehouses in Washington.)
He also gives an idea of the various differences of opinion among holocaust historians themselves.

Agree 100%. The Holocaust was a real and horrible event -- one of the most brutal massacres in history. That is why it is so sad to see Israel copying the Nazis to a considerable extent in its policy towrads the Arabs and Palestininians. When victims become victimizers one's faith in humanity takes a big step back.

And the Jews too have indulged in genocide. When they originally conquered the holy land, did they not wipe out the native inhabitants supposedly on orders from God. Is this not the inspiration for Sharon and his followers today?

Sadly there is plenty of guilt to go around on these matters.

Thank you observer for being neutral and pointing out facts that are otherwise not discussed. Because John is obviously having a sarcastic swipe at me again for that very reason. He has already branded me a rascist. Twenty years ago it would have been a 'Commie'. He has called me an associate of the 'National Alliance' who ever they are, a 'stooge'and worst of all he has insinuated that I am a Hun. Still I suppose I can take comfort in the way he treats poor old Scot with his cutting remarks, Yet you have a President with the same mentality. I do not know what that say's about America because Scot's mentality is probably representative of Eighty percent of Americans. I feel sorry for Scot though because your Government has taught him that way of thinking,Through Government run State Education, He is a product of your Society, he is how the World perceives you. And yet in their self centred ignorance a lot of Americans still cannot quite grasp why they were the victim of september the eleventh.
You can slander me John I don't mind. It is a good job that I am not a Jew because I would sue you for lot's of filthy lucre.

Yes, the Jews surely suffered in the last war. But so did the Russians, who lost 20 million at the hands of the Nazi's. And what about the Gypies and a raft of others that went to the gas chambers.
What about the 2 million Rwandans, and the 2.5 million Camobodians, and how about the 30 million Chinese that perished. Yes the jews did suffer, but so have countless millions more.....where are THEIR musuems dotted all over the world? I am all for remembering the lesson and acknowledging their terrible demise, BUT some sections of world Jewry have turned it into a industry to be milked for every political tear they can wring from it. If they keep it up, people will start to turn off, and tune out.

Thank you Lynette as well. Even though you profess to being not particulary knowledgable,at least you have the Intelligence to see how one sided the whole subject is,and the Backbone to stand up and air your view, instead of being the usual politically correct sychophant. The Russians lost more in the region of Twenty Six Million including Civilians,Without doubt they were who decided the outcome of the Second World War.Make no mistake though, the Russians were no Angels, for they commited many Atrocities on par with Germany.Hitler had warned his Generals on the eve of Barbarossa (Codename for invasion of Russia)That this will be the most vicious conflict in history 'Us or them shall be the title of this pitiless clash,Why you ask Gentlemen? because it is the most dangerous type of war, it is a clash of Ideologies'
And what a clash it was, the World rocked on it's Axis from the battering of it's thunder.
My point is, everyone is tarred with the same brush, and all governments are murdering Bastards,Whether it be Germans,Jews,Russians,British,American Whatever. It does not matter at whose history you look at somewhere down the line they will have all had a jolly good go at Genocide,in some form or other.
But you only get the Jews version pushed in your face. Why am I allowed to question how many German women were nailed to barn doors and raped by the Russian's when they advanced into Germany? Or How many Boers the British killed in their Concentration camps during the Boer War, or how many Pol Pot killed in Cambodia,(While the world stood by and watched) or how many Stalin starved to death during the Collectivisation period in the Ukraine. But if I even mention the word Jew, I am run out of Town like a Leper.
And the German's kill the Jews and the Jews kill the Arabs and the Arabs kill the Hostages and that is the news. Is it any wonder the Monkey is confused.
