According to figures released on Wednesday by Britain-based non-governmental organization Iraq Body Count (IBC) which tracks violence in Iraq, 9,475 civilian deaths were recorded in Iraq in 2013. Iraq recorded 10,130 deaths in 2008, according to IBC.
