Crystal Palace's chairman Simon Jordan yesterday denied in the High Court that he told FHM magazine that he "hated" Iain Dowie despite Palace's promotion to the Premiership in 2004, although Jordan did agree that in one of his final telephone conversations with Dowie, he expressed the view that the team were "fucking shit" and had "no bollocks".
