The Professional Footballers' Association deputy chief executive Mick McGuire was yesterday accused of lying over his involvement with the Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie's move to Charlton Ahtletic. The accusation came from the Palace chairman Simon Jordan during his £1m High Court compensation claim against Dowie for "fraudulent misrepresentation".

Ronald Wayne Jordan Sr., 53, died May 6, 2007, at Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 19, 1954, in Anderson. He attended Anderson Community Schools, graduating from Anderson High School. Ronald was a former employee of Delco Remy for 15 years and a member of UAW 662.
