Get this! Israeli President Moshe Katsav now accuses the Europeans of encouraging violence. Now it's Europe's fault, not that of Israel and not the U.S.. "The Palestinian people should ask which achievement their president brought to them in the last 18 months," Katsav says. "He [Arafat] must, he should do something to stop the violence... If Europe will say to Yasser Arafat the same thing America said, we could reduce the violence," Katsav insists. "Europe provided backing to Arafat, and I believe that is encouraging terrorism in the Middle East." It appears both the Israeli President and the Israeli Prime Minister are in need of urgent reality counseling and maybe psychiatry care.
