Egypt said Monday it bought 110,000 metric tons of U.S. and Canadian wheat for shipment in the first two weeks of September. The Etisalat consortium which won a bid for Egypt's third mobile network licence will begin operations towards the end of Q1 2007, Gulf News reported.
