Yesterday, in an impressive ornate U.S. Senate Hearing Room, the U.S. 'private sector' put on an expensive day-long high-energy high-impact seminar calling it 'The Real State of the Union'. They sent out messages far and wide hoping to get many attendies, offering up as incentive free breakfast and lunch. After all, since the real goal was to broadcast the proceedings nation-wide on C-span -- an immense propaganda as well as occasional educational vehicle -- getting as many 'extras' in the audience was important as well. Quite a free advertisement for the sponsoring magazine as well (well minus the costs of production, and the free meals that is)... Now get this:
