PALESTINIAN CIVIL WAR PREPARATIONS

it's not that hard to read between the lines on this one -- the U.S.,
Israel, and the Europeans, along with some of the Arab client-regimes,
are all lined up to support the Fateh Palestinians. In some critical
ways these are in fact what Edward Said called the 'collaborationist'
Palestinians that were empowered and armed years by the U.S. and Israel
years ago when the goal was to trap the Palestinians in a rump unreal
'Palestinian State' Yasser Arafat had been chosen to endorse. With the
failure of that historic gambit the situation today is far worse than
just a decade ago and the goal now is Plan B -- to foment a Palestinian
civil war attempting to mask the imposition of worse-than-Apartheid
realities on the now seriously fragmented and far more destitute
Palestinians. In the process the Hamas Palestinians have been pushed
into alignment with Iran and Syria along with the Arab nationalist and
Islamic forces that continue to hold out against U.S.-Israeli hegemony

still hold Washington in their grip, albeit less firmly than before the
